A blackguard epitomizes evil. They are nothing short of a mortal fiend, a black knight with the foulest sort of reputation. Many refer to blackguards as anti-paladins due to their completely evil nature. A blackguard is an evil villain of the first order, equivalent in power to the righteous paladin, but devoted to the powers of darkness.

Blackguard Bonus Caster Level: Scales past the normal progression as the Blackguard gains levels. +1 caster level at level 3. +2 caster level from level 4 to 9. +4 caster level at level 10+. This bonus stacks with the Practiced Spellcaster feat, but cannot go past total Hit Dice.
Use Poison: The character is trained in the use of poison and never has to make a dexterity check when applying poison to a blade.
Dark Blessing: Blackguards add their charisma bonus to all saving throws.
Smite Good: Three times a day, a blackguard of second level or higher may attempt to smite a good aligned enemy with one normal melee attack. The blackguard adds his charisma bonus to the attack roll and adds 1 extra point of damage per class level. 6 minutes recharge.
Create Undead: A blackguard may summon a ghast once per day. At seventh level, this ability improves and a doom knight is summoned instead.
Turn Undead: With this feat, the character can force undead to flee in terror. This ability may be activated three times per day, plus the character's charisma modifier. The blackguard's level minus two and charisma are used to determine how many undead are turned.
Summon Fiend: Starting at fifth level, a blackguard may summon a succubus. At ninth level this ability improves and grants the power to summon a vrock.
Sneak attack: Increases by +1d6 every three levels after 10th.
Bonus feats: The epic blackguard gains a bonus feat every three levels. In other words, at levels 13, 16, and 19.
