It is rumored that the magical powers of sorcerers and bards is somehow connected to the presence of dragon blood in their family tree. Dragon Disciples are sorcerers, and sometimes bards, who use their magical power as a catalyst to ignite their dragon blood, realizing its fullest potential. They prefer a life of exploration to a cloistered existence. Already adept at magic, many pursue adventure, especially if it furthers their goal of finding out more about their draconic heritage. They often feel drawn to areas known to harbor dragons.

Draconic Armor: The character becomes more draconic in appearance. His skin develops tiny iridescent scales, nearly invisible. This provides increasing natural armor bonuses to his base armor class.
Dragon Abilities: The Dragon Disciple's awakening lineage grants them more power the more they are able to tap into it, resulting in increases to base Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, and Charisma. As well, the Disciple's bloodline determines further benefits they may receive at later levels such as elemental immunities.
Breath Weapon: The character can breathe a 30' cone of whatever substance is appropriate to his/her draconic type, dealing 3d10 points of damage to each opponent caught in the area of effect. The damage and DC scales as follows:
1-2: 3d10 & DC 22
3-6: 6d10 & DC 25
7-10: 8d10 & DC 28
10+: 8d10 + 1d10 per 2 level above 10
28 + 1 DC per level above 10
Blindsense: Blindsense (See Invisibility, Ultravision, spot/listen +10)
Dragon Wings: The Dragon Disciple grows wings capable of flight.
Full Awakening: Upon reaching level 10, the Dragon Disciple's transformation is complete. They receive immunity to paralysis and sleep, as well as the ability to see in the dark perfectly.
Epic Draconic Armor: +1 AC every 5 levels after 10th.
Bonus feats: The epic dragon disciple gains a bonus feat every four levels. In other words, at levels 14 and 18.
Epic bonus feats: armor skin, automatic quicken spell, automatic silent spell, automatic still spell, epic damage reduction, epic prowess, epic reputation, epic spell focus, epic spell penetration, epic toughness, greater spell focus, improved combat casting
The following standard Dragon Disciple colors can be selected upon your first Dragon Disciple level:
Black
Blue
Brass
Bronze
Copper
Gold
Green
Red
Shadow
Silver
White
Any other color must be applied for first in a PRC Request before taking your first level in the class. For a full list, you can see the Exotic Race Application thread's post on half-dragons for other variants.
When you take your first Dragon Disciple level of a non-standard color you should submit a LETO request to change your subrace title to match your non-standard color. Example: "Steel DD Human". This makes it easier for DMs to roleplay with your character. Non-standard dragon disciples must submit a LETO request at level 3 to have their breath weapons corrected, and must submit a LETO request at level 10 to have their default immunity removed and for a DM to give them their correct immunities in-game.
Dragon Disciple cannot be taken on any race with a type change. ie. Half-Dragon, Fey, Tiefling, Half-Celestial, Lycanthropes, etc.
Tails and Horns:
A dragon disciple may optionally request a tail or horns at dragon disciple level 9. A dragon disciple cannot have both a tail and horns unless the dragon disciple opts to lose their wings.
Note that dragon disciples with additional physical features are treated with the same reaction level as a half-dragon of the same type.
