Necromancy is usually a poor choice for arcane spellcasters. Those who really want to master the deathless arts almost always pursue divine means. However, an alternative exists for those who desire power over undead, without losing too much of their arcane power. Enter the Pale Master, who draws on a font of special lore that provides a macabre power all its own.

Class is locked at 10 levels.
Bone Skin: The pale master gains an innate +2 bonus to their AC at 1st, 4th, and 8th, class levels.
Animate Dead: Once per day a pale master may animate dead as a spell-like ability.
Darkvision: This feat grants the ability to see in the dark. This does not negate magical darkness.
Summon Undead: The pale master can summon an undead creature twice per day as a spell-like ability. The level of the pale master determines the type of undead that is summoned.
Deathless Vigor: The pale master gains +3 hit points per level.
Undead Graft: Two times per day a pale master may use their undead arm to paralyze foes for 2d6 round + 2. If the touch attack hits, a fortitude saving throw vs. negative energy is allowed to avoid the effects with a DC of 15 + pale master level + highest of Charisma or Intelligence modifier. At level 8 this may be used three times per day. 10 minutes recharge
Special: Once a character has achieved level 6 Palemaster and taken the Undead Graft, this class cannot be releveled out of, or reduced below Level 6, without an approved DM-run quest to reverse the effects.
Tough as Bones: The pale master becomes immune to stun, hold, and paralyzation.
Summon Greater Undead: At ninth level, a pale master may summon a greater undead once per day as a spell-like ability. The pale master's level determines the type of undead summoned.
Deathless Master Touch: At 10th level a pale master's touch becomes deadly, instantly killing unless a DC of 15 + pale master level + highest of Charisma or Intelligence modifier fortitude save is made. 15 minutes recharge
Deathless Mastery: At 10th level, a pale master becomes immune to critical hits.
