Beginning of CD canon, end of official canon (RL: roughly 2005-2006)
- Silence of Lolth happens off-screen, during which she suborns the following of the recently-deceased Moander, providing divine magic to its cult in exchange for claiming their worship; this grants her sufficient following to ascend to Greater Deity. Lolth is granting spells under her own name again as well at time of server start.
- Bane returns from death, destroying Iyachtu Xvim. Zhentarim reorganizes under Church of Bane and Church of Cyric sects.
- The City of Shade, Thultanthar, returns to the Prime. Tilverton is destroyed and occupied by shadow creatures, led by the shadow dragon Umbra Obscuras. Cormyr-Shade War begins.
- Most other “canon” events (Rage of Dragons, etc.) did not occur.
