A scroll is a piece of parchment upon which a spell is stored. These are implemented in Neverwinter Nights as one-square inventory items, up to 100 stacked together, with the icon of the spell superimposed on the scroll icon.
Noteable changes from default for Cormyr:
A potion contains a single use of a specific spell. Potions can only be used on the player's character; they cannot target a location or item. Drinking a potion incurs an attack of opportunity. Potions can be "fed" to an associate by dropping the potion from the player inventory onto either the associate's portrait or their representation in the 3D game environment. However in the case of spells that always affect the caster, potions of those spells will affect the player's character even when fed to an associate.
Noteable changes from default for Cormyr:
A wand is an item for storing many (up to 50) copies of a single spell. Their usage is often restricted to the classes that can cast that spell normally. Wands must be equipped in the offhand slot on Cormyr, and can further be assigned to a quickslot for faster access. When a wand's remaining charges are reduced below the number needed for the spell, the item is destroyed.
Noteable changes from default for Cormyr:
Traps can be either mechanical or magic in nature. They consist of a trigger and the scripts that apply the effect of the trap. Traps can cause damage, affect ability scores, apply curses, add or subtract items from a character's inventory, or really anything the module designer can dream up and script.
Craft Trap has seen a large overhaul, details found here.
Cormyr features a fully custom item writing and editing System supporting books, scrolls, letters, paintings, plushies & more.
